| Ok Fellas i'm gonna start from the beginning. I haven't posted in a while b/c i tried posting months ago about a coasting in neutral idling issue...and could no longer find the thread. Not to mention the search function is useless for any posts in the last 2 years!! BTW, idle issue is still there, but now that it's hot the car won't die. Ok here I go... I have a 93 TT BONE STOCK. I would never upgrade this car b/c i have enough trouble keeping it running right. Car is tight, good shape, i get compliments on how clean it is all the time. But the thing is cursed. It got hit twice in 2 weeks while parked. Just when i'm thinking to myself that it's running nicely something gets screwed up!! And today, one of weights on the passenger side front tire fell off, so it's out of balance. Ok enough venting. I have a problem with the brakes...sounds like front driver side. Something is rubbing, squeeking after the driving for a few miles, and it's intensified by hitting the brakes. If i hit the brakes hard, no sound, but if gently ride the brakes it'll squeek like hell. Checked all the pads, they're fine. Rotors look fine also, maybe slightly warped...but nothing that should be causing a noise. The other recent thing, is I think i'm in safety boost...sometimes more noticably than others. I don't really know how accurate the stock boost gauge is but sometimes it's only boosting to the first tick mark...(likes its cold...safety boost) But sometimes it'll boost to the first big tick mark. (better but not full boost) A lil background, i replaced all the injectors and spark plugs back in the winter. After i got it up again in Janary, after the injectors, it ran the best EVER. I mean, no traction as soon as boost hit, kicking it sideways into 2nd. Fast as hell!! And a couple more things...Recently i've noticed a small ticking noise on startup, but it goes away after a few seconds. And it always makes a small whistling noise...doesn't really sound like a belt, but if you hit the gas u can hear a faint whistling. I'm thinking the whistling and the idle dying while coasting could be related. But you guys are the experts. Please help me restore my love for the Z, because I am getting very frustrated!!
